THIS DEED OF ADOPTION is made on this [date] at [place] between:

AND

WHEREAS the Adoptive Parents have no child and the Natural Parents have agreed to give their child, [childName], in adoption to the Adoptive Parents.
NOW THIS DEED WITNESSETH AS UNDER:
1. That the Natural Parents have already given the child, [childName], in adoption to the Adoptive Parents on [date].
2. That the Adoptive Parents have accepted the child in adoption and are now the legal parents of the child.
3. That the child shall have all the rights of a natural child of the Adoptive Parents.
4. That the child shall be known as [childName] and shall be the legal heir of the Adoptive Parents.
5. That the adoption is made out of natural love and affection.
6. That the adoption shall be governed by the Hindu Adoptions and Maintenance Act, 1956.
